Moodboard is a new magazine concept aimed to engage and empower its readers through arresting, original fashion imagery and writing from some of the world's most interesting contemporary thinkers in the realms of fashion, art, gender, and popular culture.
Inspired by London stylist Jeanie Annan-Lewin's teenage moodboards, which later translated into her influential Tumblr and Instagram image archives, Moodboard aims to be a culture journal for the millennial age, designed in the spirit of openness and discourse to empower its readers. At Moodboard, we don't follow fashion but interact with it, encouraging creativity to embody trends and originate your own.
Honing in on new and exciting subcultures from around the world, Moodboard holds the principle that culture begins with counter-culture. Our writers will travel the world seeking movements who are daring, exciting, fresh and inspiring. As a London-based journal Moodboard will treat London as a collection of villages, and explore it alongside other towns and community, in the UK and beyond.
